AI Astrology, by Zentrix AI, casts a Vedic birth chart and writes a short reading for today, tomorrow, this month and this year. This policy describes what the app collects, which is very little, and why.
It is specific to the AI Astrology app. Our other apps have their own policies; nothing in those applies here.
The app has no sign-up, no sign-in and no user profile on our side. We never ask for your email address or phone number, and we have no way to identify you as a person.
To cast a chart the app asks for four things: a name for the reading to use, your date and time of birth, how sure you are of the time, and your birth city. These are stored only on your device, together with today's chart and reading so the app can show them again without asking.
They are not sent to us, and the app excludes them from Android's cloud backup and from device-to-device transfer, so they do not leave the phone that way either. The chart itself — planetary positions, houses and periods — is calculated on the phone.
The written reading is produced on our server. To ask for one, the app sends chart facts only: which zodiac signs the Moon, the rising sign and the planets fall in, the lunar mansion (nakshatra), and which planetary periods (dashas) are running. They are sent as numbers and fixed names.
Your name, birth date, birth time and birth place are never sent. On their own, chart facts like these are shared by everyone born in the same few hours at the same latitude, and do not identify you.
Our server turns those facts into the reading using a language model, and returns it to the app. Neither the facts nor the reading are stored on the server. Our logs record only whether a request succeeded, how long it took and how much text was generated, and are deleted after 14 days.
Every reading has a Report this reading link, for anything offensive, frightening, or otherwise wrong. If you use it, the app sends us the text of that reading, which tab you were on, the reason you picked, and a note if you write one. It sends nothing else: no name, no birth details, no chart facts, and no identifier for you or your phone.
Reports are stored on Amazon Web Services in Mumbai, read by our team so we can improve the checks every reading passes, and deleted automatically after 12 months. The form asks you to leave personal details out of the note; if you include any, they are stored with the report and deleted with it.
The server and the language model both run on Amazon Web Services in the Mumbai region (ap-south-1), in India. The model is provided through Amazon Bedrock, which under its terms does not store the requests it answers or use them to train models.
Amazon Web Services hosts the server and the model and handles each request on our behalf, including the network details, such as IP address, needed to deliver it. We do not sell, rent or trade data to anyone.
Everything the app holds is on your device. Clear the app's data in Android settings, or uninstall the app, and all of it — your details, the chart and any saved reading — is removed. The only thing we keep is a report you choose to send (section 4). It carries nothing that links it to you, so we cannot find it to delete early, but it is deleted automatically after 12 months.
Astrology is a traditional belief system, not established science. Readings are written as reflections and possibilities, and are not medical, legal or financial advice.
The app is intended for adults, aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and collects no information that could identify a child.
Because we hold no information that identifies you, there is generally nothing personal for us to retrieve, correct or delete on request. If you believe we hold information about you and want it addressed, write to us at the address below and we will respond.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published here with a new date. Material changes will be reflected in the app's store listing.
